RIFF Hails Fubara Over Ndigbara’s Appointment as Permanent Secretary

The Rivers International Film Festival (RIFF) has commended Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, for appointing Mr. Freddy Ndigbara as a Permanent Secretary in the Rivers State Civil Service.
In a statement issued Saturday, RIFF's Public Relations Officer, Blessing Ezeigbo, described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Ndigbara’s dedication, competence, and outstanding contributions to the growth of the cultural and tourism sector in the state.
She expressed confidence that Ndigbara’s vast experience and visionary leadership would enhance the formulation and implementation of policies that promote Rivers State’s rich cultural heritage, creative industries, and tourism potential.
Ezeigbo noted that the appointment would further strengthen collaboration between the ministry and stakeholders in the creative sector, particularly the Rivers International Film Festival.
“RIFF’s vision is to produce and promote quality content while fostering cultural exchange through arts and film,” she said.
