The Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area, Hon. Abuba Solomon Ochoma, has commended the 2025 Batch B Stream II Corps Members who served in the Council for their outstanding contributions to the growth and development of the area.
Hon. Ochoma gave the commendation in a goodwill message delivered on his behalf by his Special Assistant on Sports and NYSC Matters, Chief Elvis Ihua, during the passing-out ceremony held at the Council Headquarters, Ahoada Town.
The Chairman assured the outgoing Corps Members that the bond of unity, community service, and human capacity development they promoted throughout their service year would remain indelible in the hearts of the people and in posterity.
He expressed the gratitude of the government and people of Ahoada East for the services rendered by Corps Members to communities across the Local Government Area, reaffirming his administration's commitment to supporting the NYSC Scheme.
According to him, the construction of an ultramodern Corpers' Lodge for Corps Members serving in the LGA is among the practical steps taken by his administration to demonstrate its support for the scheme.
In what has become a consistent gesture by the Council Chairman, Hon. Ochoma further augmented the transportation fare of the passing-out Corps Members. Each Corps Member received ₦5,000 to support their journey back home.
The outgoing Corps Members were encouraged to continue to uphold the good image of the NYSC Scheme wherever they find themselves and to always remember Ahoada East Local Government Area with fond memories.
