NYSC a Bedrock for Unity and Sustainable Development...Naval Commander

The Commander, Nigerian Naval Shipyard (NNS) Pathfinder, Port Harcourt, Commodore Mutalib Ibikunle Raji, has extolled the contributions of the NYSC Scheme in championing strategic nation building, describing the 56 year old Scheme as a bedrock of national unity and sustainable development.

The Naval Commander made the assertion when he received the State Coordinator NYSC Rivers State, Mr. Moses Oleghe, on a courtesy visit.

Commodore Raji, hailed the cordial relationship between the NYSC and the naval Shipyard, and described it as very healthy and mutually beneficial.

He used the occasion to assure the management of the Scheme in the state of his commitment towards supporting the successful implementation of the Scheme's programmes and activities in the state. in order to strengthen the bond between them.

He commended the quality of service delivery by Corps Members posted to the Shipyard and assured that his administration would make their welfare a top priority in order to encourage and motivate them for optimum performance.

The State Coordinator NYSC Rivers State, Mr. Moses Oleghe informed the Commander that the visit was to formally interface and familiarize with him, as well as welcome him to the State having just been appointed into the position.

He informed him that the synergy and partnership between the two agencies have been topnotch and called for its sustenance.
