ADUN Reaffirms Commitment to Academic, Religious Development

The Vice-Chancellor of Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN), Prof. Christopher Ogbogbo, has reaffirmed the institution's commitment to promoting academic excellence and religious development.
Speaking during the foundation-laying ceremony for the university's Central Mosque at its permanent campus in Ibusa, Delta State, Prof. Ogbogbo said the university remained dedicated to producing graduates who are distinguished by both character and learning.
He noted that religion plays a vital role in shaping students' character and fostering moral values within the university community.
The Vice-Chancellor urged the Muslim community to construct a befitting mosque that would adequately serve worshippers on campus while also accommodating visitors and guests from outside the university.
Prof. Ogbogbo expressed appreciation to the Muslim community for inviting him to perform the foundation-laying ceremony and assured them of the university's continued support for religious organisations and activities.
He also pledged to monitor the progress of the project through periodic visits and provide guidance where necessary to ensure its successful completion.
Speaking on behalf of the Muslim community, Dr. Musa Saheed thanked the university management for its unwavering support and commended Prof. Ogbogbo for the achievements recorded since assuming office as Vice-Chancellor.
Dr. Saheed also expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for His guidance, mercy and continued blessings upon the university and its community.
