RIVERS STATE NYSC COORDINATOR LAYS FOUNDATION FOR ULTRA MODERN CORPERS LODGE IN AHOADA EAST

Designed with the latest taste in modern buildings, each room is a suite, with 2 kitchens, 2 offices, one for the Local Government Inspector and the other for the local manager, a courtyard and sports arena for football, volleyball, and other sporting activities.

It was a remarkable and exciting day for Corps Members serving in Ahoada East as the State Coordinator NYSC Rivers State, Mr. Moses Oleghe laid the foundation for a brand new Corpers lodge.

The lodge, a 20 unit self-contained apartment on completion within a 90-day window, is designed to accommodate at least 40 Corps Members, 20 males, and 20 females in the two different sections of the apartment.


Performing the ceremony, Mr. Oleghe described the project as a landmark legacy worthy of emulation by other Council Chairmen.
He assured the Chairman and the people of Ahoada East that their investment would attract more development to area.

Earlier, the Chairman, Ahoada East LGA, Hon Solomon Abuba Ochoma, had described the NYSC Scheme as one of the most enduring legacy of the Federal Government aimed at achieving national unity, integration, and meaningful participation in community development.

He said his administration chose to execute the project to enhance the welfare of Corps Members as well as to appreciate their lofty contribution to the growth and development of the LGA.

He assured that the project would be delivered within the stipulated time with high standard, quality, and value in mind.

The event attracted eminent sons and daughters of Ahoada East LGA, including the Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman on Youth and NYSC Matters, Chief Elvis Ihua.
