ELUMELU REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO GRASSROOTS DEVELOPMENT, PROMISES MORE ROADS, JOBS AND COMMUNITY PROJECTS.

The immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu has reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development and improved livelihoods, promising more roads, job opportunities and community projects for the people of Idumuje-Ugboko and Idumuje-Unor in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Elumelu made the commitment while attending an empowerment programme organised by Hon. Chukwunwike Ugo Eagle, Councillor representing Idumuje-Ugboko Ward 10, and Hon. Okonkwo Nnamdi, Councillor representing Idumuje-Unor Ward 9.

The programme empowered 200 beneficiaries in each ward, demonstrating the councillors’ commitment to economic support and people-oriented representation.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Elumelu urged them to utilise the cash gifts wisely, invest productively and turn the support into opportunities for sustainable livelihoods and economic growth.

He also pledged to intensify efforts towards community development, including the construction of additional roads, the furnishing of the palace and the creation of more jobs to improve the welfare of the people.

Elumelu’s participation underscored the importance of effective collaboration between political leaders and grassroots representatives in delivering tangible benefits to the people.

The programme highlighted a shared commitment by Elumelu, Hon. Chukwunwike Ugo Eagle, Hon. Okonkwo Nnamdi and Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye to strengthening community development, expanding economic opportunities and advancing the interests of the people of Aniocha North.
