Governor Ademola Adeleke has won the 2026 Osun State governorship election, defeating APC candidate Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji by a decisive 66,252-vote margin.
Adeleke polled 511,067 votes, while Oyebamiji secured 444,815 votes. ADC candidate Najeem Salaam finished a distant third with 17,180 votes.
The result, announced after statewide collation across Osun’s 30 LGAs, saw Adeleke claim 19 LGAs, with Oyebamiji winning the remaining 11.
With the victory, Adeleke moves closer to securing another term as governor of Osun State.
