Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has broken his silence after defeating the APC, ADC and other rival parties in the governorship election.
In his first reaction, Adeleke gave all the glory to God, insisting that the victory was not about him alone but a victory for democracy and the people of Osun State.
The governor said voters rewarded his administration for what he described as visible progress in infrastructure, education and agriculture.
According to Adeleke, the message from the people was clear: they had seen the impact of his government and were willing to give him another term.
While he did not unveil fresh policy details, Adeleke signalled that his administration would continue along the path established during his first tenure.
The victory further cements Adeleke's hold on Osun politics while handing the opposition a major defeat in one of the South-West's most fiercely contested states.
