2027: Elumelu Gets Fresh Boost as Integrity Group Backs His Bid

Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, has received a fresh boost ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the Integrity Group, Renewed Hope for More Agenda and You Matter Charity Foundation Ambassadors, declaring its support for his candidacy.

The group also formally invested Elumelu as its patron during a courtesy visit to him led by its Director-General, Dr. Oke Idawene.

Idawene was accompanied by state directors, members and coordinators from Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Oshimili North and Oshimili South Local Government Areas.

Speaking during the visit, Idawene said the organisation was committed to supporting APC candidates across the country, urging its coordinators in the four local government areas to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.

He described Elumelu as a politician who had empowered people across Delta State and called on members of the group to work towards what he described as a “five-over-five” victory for the APC in the state.

Idawene said the group’s broader objective was to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.

The Delta State Chairman of the organisation, Bulum Martins Nwachukwu, also assured Elumelu of the group’s support, saying its grassroots structure comprised unit mobilisers and ward coordinators.

According to him, the group would work with the APC structure at all levels to mobilise support for the party’s candidates.

Responding, Elumelu urged members of the organisation to remain humble and empathetic in their dealings with the people, while stressing the need for sustained engagement at the grassroots.

He commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration, describing the governor as a “promise keeper” and saying he regularly prayed for him.

Elumelu reaffirmed his commitment to representing the interests of the people of Aniocha/Oshimili and appealed to the group to support APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

He also urged political leaders and public office holders to remain humble while in power.

The highlight of the visit was the formal investiture of Elumelu as patron of the Integrity Group.
