Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency have pledged to close ranks and intensify grassroots mobilization to reposition the party for victory in future elections.
The stakeholders’ meeting, held on Wednesday September 9 in Asaba, had in attendance party leaders, chieftains, ward and LGA executives, as well as members from across Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Oshimili North and Oshimili South Local Government Areas.
Speaking at the meeting, the Delta State APC Chairman Hon. Solomon Arenyeka charged members to remain united and committed to the ideals of the party.
Arenyeka urged stakeholders to take the message of the APC to every ward and unit, noting that unity and discipline remain the key to winning elections in the constituency and the state at large.
In his goodwill message, former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives and APC chieftain, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, commended the stakeholders for their dedication and turnout.
Elumelu, who is also the APC candidate for the Federal Constituency called for synergy among party leaders, saying the APC in Aniocha/Oshimili must present a common front to deliver the constituency in 2027. He also applauded President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and assured that the party would work to ensure that the dividends of democracy got the people of Aniocha/ Oshimil Federal Constituency.
He also praised Governor Sheriff Oborewori for his commitment to ensuring that the
party succeeded at all levels in the 2027 General elections.
Other speakers at the meeting stressed the need for reconciliation, inclusion of women and youths, and aggressive membership drive across the four LGAs.
The meeting ended with a resolution to set up reconciliation and mobilization committees across the wards to strengthen the party ahead of the next electoral cycle.
