Muslim Corps Members have been charged to promote religious harmony and tolerance as a panacea to enduring peace, progress, and development of Nigeria.
The State Coordinator NYSC Rivers State, Mr. Moses Oleghe gave the charge when he joined muslim faithfuls in camp to observe jumat prayer.
He used the occasion to further inform the muslim faithfuls that Rivers State is very safe for all Corps Members and Nigerians alike to live and practice their faith.
He charged the muslim Corps Members to participate actively in camp programmes and activities, while obeying camp rules, and regulation.
The jumat prayer had in attendance, the Camp Commandant, Major Usman Mohammed, as well as other muslim camp officials.
