Staff of National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, nationwide have been asked to enhance their level of digital literacy as the Scheme gradually transition into a technologically driven organization.
The Director-General of NYSC, Brig-Gen O Nafiu, gave the directive thursday during a one day sensitization program aimed at bringing staff uptodate with the latest policy thrust of the Scheme's top management.
The Director- General reiterated the resolve and commitment of management to prioritize competence and merit in all appointments and promotion of officers with immediate effect.
The sensitization lecture was delivered by Mr. Samuel Kokwu of the department of Human Resource management NYSC National headquarters, Abuja and had in attendance the Ag. Director, NYSC South South Area Office two , Port Harcourt, Mr. Philip Enaberue and the State Coordinator NYSC Rivers State, Mr. Moses Oleghe.
Mr kokwu enjoined staff to improve on their attitude to work, loyalty, discipline, ethical values, honesty, and integrity.
He assured them that their welfare would always remain the top priority of management and appealed to them to avoid cutting corners in the discharge of their duties.
