Content monitoring Board concludes Capacity building training for Teachers in Oil and Gas host communities
The training program is part of the efforts to enhance the quality of education and promote sustainable development in these communities.
A five-day capacity building training program for 30 teachers in oil and gas host communities in Delta State, with a focus on STEM education, has been successfully concluded.
The training, which started on Monday and ended today, January 9th 2026, was organized by Mode Four Solutions in collaboration with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).
The Chief Executive Officer of Mode Four Solutions, Orji Blessing, admonished the participants to take what they have learned back to their various communities and use the knowledge to better them.
She emphasized the importance of STEM education in driving development and innovation in the oil and gas industry.
The training program was designed to equip teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively deliver STEM education in their respective schools. The program covered various topics, including hands-on practicals and best practices in STEM teaching.
The NCDMB and Mode Four Solutions partnership aims to promote STEM education and develop the skills of teachers in oil and gas host communities.
The participants expressed their gratitude to Mode Four Solutions and NCDMB for the opportunity to participate in the training program. They pledged to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the training to improve the delivery of STEM education in their schools.
