Nigerians have been asked to turn to God in full repentance of their evil ways so that the lawlessness and insecurity in the country can abate.
The convener of the GCk, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi gave the advice at the Believers' Conference friday at the ongoing Global Crusade with Kumuyi in Portharcourt, Rivers State.
Delivering a message on the topic, "The Revival and Renewal for Extraordinary Breakthrough", Pastor Kumuyi said People can only witness breakthroughs in their perplexing situations through genuine repentance.
He told the congregation, God was ready to heal the people, and the church from the painful breakdown of law and order if they humbled themselves and walked in the way of holiness.
Pastor Kumuyi said this could be achieved when the people forsake all forms of foolishness, abstain from all appearances of evil, separate themselves from sexual sins, tame their tongues, identify with Jesus, the intercessor, neglect everything negative and grow in Godliness.
The Man of God admonished Religious Leaders who hobnobbed with prominent people in the society without telling them the truth thereby giving them a false sense of approval from God in their atrocities to retrace their steps.
He also lamented the proliferation of Churches In the Nation who find it difficult to preach the true gospel of Christ because of pecuniary gains.
The Convener of the GCK assured the people that hope was not lost as God was ever ready to erase the agony and calamities being faced by the families, communities and the Nation if they return to God so as to experience the anticipated breakthrough.
