Support Cultural Revival.... Rivers State Nysc Coordinator Charges Corps Members

2026 Batch B Stream I Corps Members deployed to Rivers State have been enjoined to stand up for cultural revival and be a light in communities where they serve.

The State Coordinator NYSC, Mr. Moses Oleghe stated this Saturday during the inter-platoon cultural carnival at the orientation exercise.

Mr Oleghe advised them to be ambassadors of the rich cultural heritage of the Country by projecting and promoting it locally and internationally.

He admonished the Corps Members to embrace a united Nigeria devoid of divisions engineered by selfish and unscrupulous citizens.

The beautiful and thrilling inter-platoon cultural competition featuring various ethnic nationalities and major tribes in the country.
Platoon 4, which presented Ogoni culture, took the 1st position, while Platoon 1, which presented Edo culture took 2nd and and platoon 7, that presented Gbagyi culture came 3rd.

The event attracted eminent personalities, including the State Coordinator, Man-O-War Nigeria, Rivers State command, Dr Barr Dignity Nwieke, and Deputy Director Audit NYSC NDHQ, Abuja, Mr. Kalu Chima.
