European champions Paris Saint-Germain have been handed a blockbuster Champions League league-phase draw, with Barcelona, Manchester City and Aston Villa among their opponents.
PSG will welcome five-time winners Barcelona to the Parc des Princes, while travelling to England to face Manchester City and Aston Villa.
Premier League champions Arsenal also face a daunting campaign. Mikel Arteta’s side will host 15-time winners Real Madrid at Emirates Stadium and travel to Bayern Munich.
They will also meet Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, Real Betis, Lille, Sabah and Slavia Prague.
Manchester City will host PSG at the Etihad Stadium before travelling to Barcelona, where they will come up against former midfielder Rodri following his £65m move to the Catalan club.
City will also reunite with another former midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne, when Napoli visit Manchester. Their remaining opponents are Sporting, Porto, RB Leipzig, AEK Athens and Lens.
Europa League winners Aston Villa return to the Champions League after a season away and face PSG and Dortmund at Villa Park, with trips to Barcelona and Galatasaray also on the schedule. Club Brugge, Fenerbahce, Viking and Slavia Prague complete their draw.
Manchester United, back in the competition after a two-year absence, will face Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Roma, Sporting, RB Leipzig, Villarreal, Sabah and Como.
Liverpool, meanwhile, will host Atletico Madrid, Porto, Villarreal and Lens, while travelling to Inter Milan, Club Brugge, Fenerbahce and LASK.
The league phase begins on 8 September 2026, with the final round of matches scheduled for 27 January 2027. The full fixture schedule is expected to be announced on Saturday.
The Champions League final will take place in Madrid on 5 June 2027.
